Waiting

We’ve all been there.

Waiting.

On a friend who is late.

On somebody to text us back.

On our life circumstances to change.

It’s filled with tension, the unknown.

On the other side of waiting, everything could be set right.

All the stuff we see that is off, wrong or out of order could be fixed.

But it’s very apparent that it just isn’t current reality.

Everything isn’t right.

Everything isn’t fixed.

But it should be.

So we wait.

In the meantime…

My soul waits for the Lord

More than the watchmen for the morning;

Indeed, more than the watchmen for the morning. – Psalm 130:6
